Unlike other writers and content creation services that only offer estimates or work on a project-by-project basis, I charge a fixed fee. This means that you will always have complete control over your budget and that there will be no unpleasant surprises down the road.

Rather than a cost per word pricing, my freelance writing rates reflect value as follows;

Freelance Writing Rates and Content Pricing

My freelance writer pricing is based on two main factors:

• The type of content you need: Different content types call for different research approaches, expertise, and writing time, which reflects my pricing.
• The required length of the content: I split my writing into ranges of words so that you understand my rates clearly, for the number of words you ask me to write.

Pricing includes research and writing expertise

• Conducting in-depth online research for authoritative content

Pricing Includes Internal Project Management

• Tracking all your instructions and deadlines in my project management tools for quality delivery within expected timescales. 
• Using your project management and content management tools to share status updates on work.
• Emailing you to acknowledge receipt of tasks, submission of completed tasks, and at other points on request. 

What is Not Included in My Content Pricing

Some services are not included in the pricing table for my content rates. 

Using products/ services so that I can write about them

If you would like me to use a product or service as part of the content writing process, I will charge an hourly rate for any time spent familiarising myself with the product or service. For example, if you need me to review your SaaS platform (or a competitor’s), I have to log into each part to test it out and write content.

Participating in video/ audio meetings after my initial consultation

I provide an initial consultation for free. I will charge an hourly rate for other audio/ video meetings that do not involve client onboarding. Please note that communication and collaboration over Google Docs or email are not subject to additional fees.

Exception: I will not charge extra fees to listen to an audio file of you responding to an email or providing extra clarity to a content brief.

Reviewing audio/ video content for content writing purposes (hourly charges)

I will charge extra hourly rates if I need to review audio or video files to write content. However, this fee will be exempted if you provide a written transcript for the video or audio file.

Uploading to a content management system

I will charge an hourly rate if you need me to upload my written content to a content management system such as WordPress, Wix, or Drupal.

My freelance writing hourly rate for the services listed above is $50. This is charged in $15 increments for every 15 minutes I need to spend on these tasks.

Invoicing and Making Payments for My Freelance Writing Services

Here are some of the things to know about invoicing and payment:

• Each piece of work is itemized separately in the invoice
• I invoice at the end of every week, bi-weekly, or monthly- relative to our initial agreement.
• I will send invoices to any email address required, directly to you or your accounts payable department.
• I request payment every end of the week, fortnightly, or 30-day term.
• The first few times we work together, or for particularly large projects, I will require a prepayment or deposit before we begin working together. 
• You can pay invoices through Wise Money Transfer, PayPal, or direct bank transfer.
• I will attach an extra fee for direct bank transfer to cater to the transfer costs.
